I think I got the left overs from Ernesto. It knocked out power for a few hours while I was working. I got payed to sit in the dark and play basketball with coworkers using my body as the hoop.

We got a lot of rain here this past week.  I never watch the news, so I'm assuming the rain came from this.

We're so close though. Tropical Storm John isn't too far from hitting me in LA County. The Storm Center could come pretty close to me. Hope for rain and wind. Recurring bits of heat wave... leave already.

We didn't get much, just a bunch of rain on Friday.  But it was so much that Marching Band was cancelled, so...
