Zero: I’m from the future. Sigma threw me through this portal. All I know is Wily and Sigma have gotten stronger. And, well, I know you because you ARE in the future, known as X.
Protoman: Where can we find one of these portals?
Zero: I don’t know, but, maybe Wily went through one.
Megaman: This makes no sense!

?: I have come here to tell you something, who you are searching for, has 1 of the pieces of the Xeno Blade. A weapon created by a dark lord. So powerful, that in one blow it could be fatal.
Megaman: Who are you?
?: My name is Clef. I come from the lands of the dark lord.
Zero: Why is the Xeno Blade in different pieces?
Clef: My forefather shattered it, in a fierce war. I am from the race of Reynor. The war was with Reynorians, against the dark lords men, the Quar, we fought, it seemed we have one, but then the dark lord came out himself and attacked. My forefather shot one arrow, and it happened to hit the blade in a particular spot, and it shattered. That arrow was the purest of arrows, made by the Wizard of Light, but, unfortunately, he is dead right now.
Protoman: Woah.
Clef: Yes, all his power was lost, and we had victory! But we just found out that there are fragments of the blade still here today. And if they are joined together, it might be more powerful. Because the beings that hold these fragments, don’t know it, but the fragments of the blade are draining there power, right at this moment.
Megaman: We have to stop them!
Protoman: But how?
Clef: The fragments have the power to make portals, to travel to different places. There should be a portal around here.
Zero: There, I sense the tremendous amount of energy!
Clef: You should leave. But wait1 I forgot to tell you something, each fragment specializes in an ability, one has strength, another, speed. Another one has energy. But the other ones I do not know. Good bye.
Megaman: Aren’t you coming with us?
Clef: I have other things to do.
Protoman: We have to hurry. Let’s go.

Megaman: Ughh, need, help.
Zero: What happened to him?
Knuckles: Well, we thought he was another invention by Dr. Eggman, so we attacked him, we seemed to be winning, but then he grabbed this thing, and he became so much more powerful. Then whom you call Sigma, took it.
Zero: Oh man! We have to find another portal fast!
Sonic: A portal? I saw a thing that looked like that in Dr. Eggmans lab.
Zero: Take me there.

Sonic: Here it is.
Zero: Good.
Megaman: Wait! Where’s Protoman.
Zero: He got injured. But I took him back to Dr. Light’s lab, he told me to take him there.
Megaman: Okay. But, can I come with you?
Zero: You are injured, and so are you Knuckles.
Tails: What about me?
Sonic: I don’t want you to get hurt, Tails. Sorry.
Zero: We have to hurry.
Sonic: Let’s go!
