You're banned because Barbie's a blonde bimbo who has nothing better to do but shop, get undressed and brainwash girls into teenagedom, sex and anorexia.

That and because Barney's all that with knobs on.

[offtopic]Hold your breath, folks. This is a mega lengthy. Also, plot and/or ending details follow. [/offtopic]

You're banned because the movie "A Goofy Movie" begins in the home of Goofy and his now-teenaged son Max Goof (who has aged since his initial appearance on the television show "Goof Troop"). After a hectic morning at home, Max arrives at school and implements his plan to shed his "Goof" label and impress his crush, Roxanne. Max and his friends later hijack the high school's stage while Principal Mazur is giving a speech about an educational summer. Suddenly, Mazur falls through a trap door as the big screen shows Max dancing in Powerline's costume to his hit song "Stand Out". Max trips over a camera cord, falls through the screen, and stares at the audience, which is screaming and cheering for him. After a brief pause, smoke fills the stage and Max moonwalks and dances in a style similar to that of Michael Jackson and Prince. Max is then hooked to a piece of rope and flown through the auditorium, only to be caught while reentering the stage by an irate Mazur.
In the aftermath, the three teens are sent to the Principal Mazur's office. He then calls Max's father Goofy, and exaggerates Max's actions to the extent that Goofy begins to think that Max was the inciter of a gang fight. Goofy is led to believing Max is exhibiting behavior that will lead him to a life of criminality ending in the electric chair. In an attempt to re-establish his relationship with his son Max, which has drifted apart slowly over the years, and to save him from his imagined date with the electric chair, Goofy, inspired by a bobblehead he buys at a supermarket, decides to take his son out on a fishing vacation to Lake Destiny, Idaho, where he and his father went when Goofy was Max's age. Oblivious to the fact that times have changed since his era, Goofy believes this vacation will be like no other, especially when he's spending some good quality time with his son.
However, on the other side of the fence, this vacation is Max's worst nightmare, and it couldn't have happened at a worse time- his original plan was to escort his dream date Roxanne to her friend Stacey's end-of-year-party. With his father's vacation already on plan, Max not only faces losing what he's worked hard for, but he also faces the possibility of losing his dream date to another guy, thus breaking his heart in the process.
Being the typical adolescent, Max's only chance to preserve his relationship with Roxanne is to lie to her by telling her that he's going to Los Angeles to attend a pop music concert of Powerline (who is the biggest pop icon in the film - and an obvious mould of Michael Jackson and Bobby Brown - and is voiced by Tevin Campbell) and that he'll be dancing with him on his final number. Roxanne falls for his lie, and Max now faces a huge problem, as Roxanne plans to watch a national telecast of the concert at her friend Stacey's house. Max and Goofy set off for their first destination, which is a small lake in Minnesota.
After being chased by Big Foot, Goofy and Max are forced to hide in their car from the monster. While Goofy is asleep, Max decides to fulfill his promise to Roxanne, and changes the destinations on the map, and ending the alterations by pinpointing their trip to Los Angeles.
The next day, Goofy names Max the navigator of the trip at a small restaurant, and they set out again. Max now leads them to all his favorite places, such as a baseball stadium and a roller coaster park.
Pete (who has been traveling with Max and Goofy on different roads with P.J.) has overheard P.J. mentioning Max changed the locations on the map. He then tells Goofy. At first, Goofy doesn't believe him, but soon he begins to wonder if what Pete says is true. He then goes back to the car, and finds he was right. Goofy is truamatized by this.
The next morning, Goofy is unusually downhearted, and Max is confused as to why. They come to a road which has a sign. Left leads to Los Angeles, and right leads to Idaho, where Lake Destiny is located. Max reluctantly cries, "Left!!!" Goofy crossly swerves the car to the left. Finally, after hearing Max's ideas to cheer him up, and thinking he is teasing him, angrily parks the car on the side of a road and silently walks to an area to be alone. Max asks what's wrong, and Goofy tells him. Max is very unhappy now, thinking he has lost the bond they established. Suddenly, the car starts rolling downhill without a driver, and a wild chase begins. As Goofy and Max chase after the car, the automobile lands into a river with Max and Goofy atop, where the two renew their bond.
Eventually, the river leads to a waterfall, which Goofy and Max, terrified of falling to their deaths, try to escape. Goofy manages to get off, but Max wasn't so lucky. Goofy attempts to save his son, but the first few tries are unsuccessful. On the final try, Goofy falls and grabs onto the fishing pole he gave Max, but the cork grip slides off, resulting in Goofy falling down the cascading falls. Max, desperate to save him, does a fishing trick his dad taught him, called "The Perfect Cast", and saves him. Max, grateful to see his father alive, apologizes for his mistake. Goofy shrugs it off by declaring their destination is LA.
While at the concert, Max is chased by a security guard, and Goofy explores the concert hall. They end up on stage with Powerline, where Max tells Goofy to "do the Perfect Cast", the fishing technique that Goofy taught him earlier. They do so, and everyone at Stacey's house sees Max on stage, dancing with Powerline. PJ also sees this and calls his Dad to watch. Nevertheless, Pete, who was hoping to get Goofy to crack down on Max in a sort of cruel manner, is surprised to see the Goof on TV, even spewing the beverage (possibly some sort of beer) all over the screen.
Despite keeping true to his promise that he will attend the concert, Max decides to tell Roxanne the truth and reveals the fact that he lied and doesn't know Powerline. When asked why he did it, he claimed that he wanted her to like him, only to find out that she already liked him, not only regardless of whether or not he had been on stage with Powerline, but at least in part because of his laugh, which Max had earlier seen as an embarrassing evidence of his mounting similarity to Goofy.
