They are starting to get really sad. I mean scratch and sniff box for froot loops? More shooting stars In lucky charms? This is stupid. The companys just throw a new flavor in that sucks way more than the orginal and throw in a free gift That you wont use. Except the  Wobblers. Fun to throw at people :) Really I would send a letter for cerals to actully try harder but whats the use.

It's called "marketing".  They do it so their product won't become stagnant and slow down in sales.  I find nothing wrong with it...

Yeah.  If you were a marketing specialist for a company, you'd probably try to come up with thousands of gimmicks to make the product sell.  The money it makes is your salary, so you're going to attempt to sell as much as you can.

Trix > Lucky Charms > You

Anyways...cereals are trying to keep up with all the other food brands out there. It's not their fault...oh wait, it is...that their cereals are bad. :P

Dude, yea.  I've been wary about cereal companies since they cut back on production of Count Chocula.  I haven't had a bowl of it in years.
Check out my website, www.spongezone.net... oh, nevermind

We have very weird cereal names. Like Apple Jacks. And there's already a cereal called, "Apple Jacks"

its called target audience.  most cereals are for kids because they don't know any better and want to be entertained as well because eating isn't enough.  therefore, marketing people that don't have anything to do with the cereal come up with ideas to help sell the product.

then there's cheerios.
