Who do you think will win the World Series this year? I'm going with the St. Louis Cardinals. They just have the best combination of a consistantly good offense AND Rotation, something you don't see much of in the majors anymore.

Actually the Tigers are doing much better this year... they're just below or at .500, if im not mistaken. I hear that they're going to increase their salary quite a bit in the near future, too, so a shot at the playoffs isn't too far off for the Tigers...

Well... OF COURSE it's going to be the Minnesota Twins...

... provided that h*** freezes over, pigs begin flying, and I land a Brazilian supermodel, of course...

As for my real pick... gotta go with the Cards.  Which means that since I'm picking them, they have no chance at all... oh well.

The Padres will not win the World Series. That's a guarantee. I think either the Yankees :thumbdown: or the White Sox :thumbup1: will win it.

I am a Yankees fan so I have to think positive and say New York Yankees. If the Yankees get out early though I will have to go against Boston and root for anyone but them.
