This iBook Sale In Houston...
« on: August 17, 2005, 08:56:28 pm »
I was going to post this earlier. This morning on the radio I heard them say something about this place selling iBooks (I'm thinking those are laptops?) for $40 each. Well, these iBooks were four years old, but apparently they were in good condition, because 17 people were injured trying to buy them. One person lost their shoe and never got it back, and another suffered from a broken foot. (Either that or some other bone close to their foot, I'm not a reliable memory source)

I just found that funny. I've never heard of those until this morning.

iBooks was a fad that started way back when that never really got off the ground because they're too expensive and, if im thinking right, all they do is let you read a book..

Are you serious? I thought they were something cool like... laptops. Well, maybe Houstonians aren't that bright.

I'm going to bed. Goodnight.

I saw that. Some people obliterated a baby stroller too. It was hilarious.

I'm posting this right now from an iBook. I love it. Mine is brand new and cost a grand. I never lost my shoe or broke anything buying it, either.
