Topic: PS2 Question

I am fed up of waiting 2 months for an English speaking game to come from the USA to the UK, it is simply unfair.
So I have been wondering.......

Is it possible to play an american PS2 game on a UK PS2 console?

If not, is there ANY way possible to have the game released at least 1 month earlier?

As I said before, and will continue to say until it is resolved....it is unfair for other English speaking countries to get a game made in the USA 2 or 3 months later.  :glare:

I see what you mean completely there, I hate that so much, its the same with films, can you believe that the Ring 2 was released in all these countries before here...

Thats ridiculous, most of those countries dont even speak english. It is very annoying.

I'm not sure if I can really help you, but I think there's devices out there you can purchase to mod your console to play other region games.  Where to find them or how much do they cost, I wouldn't know.  But there are ways to make it play American games...

I'm not sure but I dont think the PS2 is interregional.

I would rather wait than modify my PS2....chips and such have been known to give seriously bad side effects to the console.

If I lived in England I would be mad if I had to wait 2-3 months to get a game. I mean what do they have to do? Change a line of code that makes it compatible there? It doesn't take that long to change a line of code and debug it people! I mean it's not that they have to tranlate anything. If it were that the delay could be explianed. Because it takes time to tranlate all those menus, and voices if they have too. And it takes even longer when they have to translate it into a different alpahbet.....I'm getting off topic...

I cannot beleive all those countries get the games before us, Chongster....why must WE get things last!?
The first ever DBZ movie was released in the UK 1 year ago....and that same movie was out in the USA and was there for 4 YEARS.
It cannot be just debugging and changing the code, it would be at least a 1 month wait for that....so why the hold up!?

24 of them are more wanted here then Worms.

I have a mod chip in my console, it dosent effect it at all!
