And I wonder why everyone wants to leave. All newbies are posting and people seem to be relaxing rules a little. Like, what even happened to The Waste Land? Spam mania. And everything seems useless. And come to think of it, I'm beginning to think that I should leave, too. Probably on my 1,000th post. Down come the walls.

Agreed the current staff does a great job, it's more along the lines of members needing to do a better job at making better posts and quit caring about who's popular and fitting in. In the old days of USB people talked to everyone not just a select few people.

People need to stoofoo about The WasteLand. It's always been a place to spam, and it always will be. Just because it was neglected for a while doesn't mean that people should start complaining about it.

This seems have always been a problem sometimes it's worse than others, right now it's bad. I don't like it when a topic about say Nirvana become a topic about pants. If someone says something that is completely off topic just ignore it.

Right, there never has been a rule against spamming in the Waste Land. It doesn't add to your postcount so why worry about it. I spam in there sometimes for fun, it's a great place to go if you feel the need to say something completely random.
