I don't see the point in turning it off for only 3 hours. Honestly, if you're going to pull it off the air, pull it for like 7 or 8 hours or don't do it at all.

Not to mention that they're having marathons of shows afterwards. x.x Let's do a little excercise for 3 hours, and watch TV for 11!

And just because they turned it offline doesn't mean mean any kids will get outside. They could watch other networks, read, or play a video game.

I think if they do this all the channels should enforce it. I was just watching other stuff.

Its so stupid. Kids will just change the channel, go online or play video games, its not like Nick is the only channel on TV and it will actually make kids go outside.

Wow!

They shut down Nick for 3 hours, to do something pathetic and boring.

Playing sucks.

Man i am glad it is over.

although all the good nicktoons good of formed together to get kids to never play again, so that nick would surrender. That's what I wish.

I think kids need to get off of their butts and play or DO someting aside from playng X-box and going online. When I was younger, I didnt even have a computer. I didnt sit and watch TV, either. I was involved with things. I played sports with my friends, made our own games up. We didnt just sit around and do dumb stuff and not use our imaginations like kids do now. The World Wide Day of Play isnt pathedic. Its lazy american kids...

hey it is stupid, but atleast they tried to motivate kids to exercise
aha... and i do have the western time Nick so i can watch that or comedy central or something
but still dont hate them because kids are really lazy these days and they want to do something about it, like now Nick has vegetables with Nicktoons on them so kids will want to eat them (they made me want to eat SB pop tarts....they're the best!!!)
and they have those commercials about eating breakfast and eating healthy
but i also agree that if they want kids to go outside, they should take it off the air for like 8 hours or something

What they need to do is leave the screen black or some other color. Showing Nick celebrities playing sports and doing such things is not making them go outside, it's making them watch TV even more.
