My School Paper had an article on Emo!
« on: January 17, 2006, 06:31:45 pm »
My school newspaper did an article on Emo, here are some of the highlights from it. "Being emo means staying on Top of Trends."
Another quote stated "Emo is just like country  music except with bigger words." Now I don't really like emo, but this is not that true emo, although about 50% are just people fellowing whatever MTV calls "cool". Next year they'll all be wigger, preppie or loserl, or whatever MTV will consider "cool".

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

I know you're not like them, I'm talking about the rich emo kids who are doing it just because it's a trend.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

Umm... I would definitely say hip-hop/rap is a lot more trendy than emo.

Emo is climbing to the top though. :(  Everywhere I go there are boys in tight (girls) jeans wearing make-up and having long hair covering one eye.  All they do is hang around malls and places hugging each other.

Awww, leave the emos alone. You might hurt their feelings... and how does wearing tight girl pants make a boy emo? If you've ever actually put on an "emo boy's" pair of pants you'd realise that they are really really comfortable.

Wearing girls jeans doesn't make a boy emo (although it does mean he needs to be reminded what gender he is), but most emo boys wear girls jeans.
