Finally, a new SpongeBob episode! Tomorrow, after a 4 hour marathon of older SpongeBob episodes which starts at 4 PM, the half-hour long special, Dunces and Dragons will premiere (8 PM EST).

Also, it looks like Lego and Nickelodeon have teamed up and created a set of SpongeBob Legos which will be released later this year.

IMO that episode was horrible. It felt too short and they put a good idea to bad use. Its was very dissapointing and not all that funny to me, They made it seem like a big deal also.

I dont see how it could feel short. It was a 30-minute (more like 22 min) episode...not the usual 11.

It seemed to take a long time to build up the storyline. It was like...dadada...commercial break...and then ALL of the story happens in the last few minutes. I guess that's why it seemed short.

I personally got agitated because guillotines were not around in the 12th century and Sandy did not have an air helmet. And how would squirrels even have the technology to traverse into the ocean back then? *shakes head* I over-analyze things, though...

The best joke was when that guy almost stabbed himself in the throat at the beginning of the ep. I almost died. I wasn't expecting something so dark in an SB episode.

It WAS blown way out of proportion, though... :dry:

well, what do you expect? Nick always blows stuff out of proportion. Remember the Danny Phantom Ultimate Enemy movie? They hyped it up SO MUCH (badly, as well) and then had Butch Hartman waste his time with Pick Boy all for a 1 hour second-rate movie.

Well, as for me, they did blow the episode out of proportion (the Monday Knight Slimetime wasn't the best endorsement in the world...), but the episode was okay. My problem was that I wanted to go into my TV screen and yell, "STOP TALKING LIKE A MIDDLE AGE PERSON, AND SQUIDWARD, STOP SINGING!!!!!". I know that those things were supposed to happen, but they didn't come out right to me. Other than that, the episode was alright.

That real thing brought me back to earlier seasons. It WAS funny sometimes, but, as others have said, Squidly should have SHUT UP if he was going to talk like that. Nobody else did! At least they shoudl have been consistent.
