Is it ok to like the south and be for Dixe Land but not be a racist or anything like that?

Hellz to the yeah.  I'm a Dixie girl through and through.  Almost no one down here is really a racist.  There is a difference between saying "Those two black people over there are dumb" and "Blacks are dumb".

yeah I'am down from the south to I'am in texas,its just that I was always kind of ashamed of my hertige(excuse my spelling)

its not that I'am ashamed of who I am I'am ashamed of what my family did.But I'am sure I'll get over it and be happy,I mean the union did burn my great grandmas house and crops.

Don't you mean be proud of what you are? Your heritage doesn't make you who you are... thats your personality.

I live in the South and I am not down with that being proud of where you live thing. It's not like I had a choice of where I wanted to live. I don't consider myself from the North or the South. I am just who I want to be. I don't let where I am from influence my personality.

I gusse that is true. Even tho we say we are not racists once or twice in our lifetime we will make a joke about someone of another race.
