Well, the full, half-hour version with all three endings premiered in 2001, but then it was un-shown for about 2 years. Then they premiered it again, along with Gary Takes a Bath.

Nickelodeon. At least I'm pretty sure it was, because I never got YTV or Nicktoons but I still saw it in 2001.

(Gasp) I just figured out why. During Shanghaied, weren't people able to call in and tell who they wanted to win (SpongeBob Pat and Squid) and get the final wish? They probably wanted to look like they were calling in and telling Patchy. I don't remember for sure, though, it's been five years since it was originally aired with the voting.
