We don't have proms in Australia, but we have a graduation at the end of grade 12. Everyone just gets dressed up all fancy like and we have a nice meal at some fancy place, listen to some sad speeches made by people we have grown up with and then dance the night away. My graduation was the best high school memory I have. I had the greatest night. I guess most of the kids in grade 12 at my school already got along pretty well, there were no fights or arguments and everyone danced together as friends, it was really emotional.
