CSS vs. CS 1.6

Lately I have been hearing Counter Strike: Source being so much better than Counter Strike 1.6. I can't even compare the two. CS 1.6 is so much better, the graphics on CSS are so cartoony and fake. The guns are more realstic in CS because CSS' have all these gadget things that aren't making it look real. Which do you like better?

Oh well :original: But I like playing CounterStrike. I'm not that good though. Still havent played Source yet.

I like CSS more. I don't know why. I play it more often anyways.

First of all, you can't talk about realism in CS, at all. Want realism? Play the newly patched CoD, and/or a crappy game like AAO.

Now, onto the subject.  CCS IS better than CS and always will be.  How can the graphics on CSS be cartoony and fake? Any graphics, on any game is 'cartoony and fake', because it is not real like you observe in real life.  Gadgets?  CZ is the one with the gadgets, CSS has everything CS has.  

And last of all, CS = more recoil, smaller crosshairs, CSS = less recoil, bigger crosshairs (when moving, anyways).  Also the CAL leagues are switching over to CSS, I believe

I actually like CS:CZ better that CS. They're basically the same game, but for some reason I play faster, more fun games on CZ. Come play with me sometime! :P

EDIT: Almost forgot...TFC ROCKS THEM ALL!!1!!/!!

To me, CS 1.6 is better. CSS is a great game, and the gadgets you can get (that don't make it look real according to Andrew, but no game is realistic) are neat, but for some reason I just like CS better.

Even though this topic is really old, I really have got into CSS, and CZ. I still like CS way more but I'm now into CSS and CZ.

I've been playing CZ like mad. We've even started a Para division in my clan when I taught 4 of them how to use the para like an awp :P

i spent aproximately 2 hours in total interacting and participating with the griefing group known as myg0t before it got incredibly boring and tedious. but my curiosity about what drives them was saited and i moved on :D

myg0t's TFC hacks are pretty weak...I remember pwning 3 of them in sniping :D

they're fairly decent in CS, but I could care less. I've never seen em in CS.

Those silly hackers.
