Its consitered beach wear. We aren't aloud to wear those either (Im speaking as if I still attended my old high school). I started an arguement with the staff that flip-flop shoes are beach wear too and girls shoudlnt wear those either. It was pretty funny for the first week when girls were getting told off for wearing them. :D


Seeing as I don't wear revealing clothing dress code rules didn't and don't apply to me. Atleast not in our public high schools.

No midriff or something. We are allowed to wear flipflops and spaghetti straps and we are allowed to roam the school during our free periods. We are allowed to have CD players also. No cellphones during school though. In middle school we weren't allowed to chew gum!

For middle school:
you could pull a knife on someone and only get 3 days out of school suspension

For high school:
no sandals
no anti-school shirts
no tubas in the hallway

For college:
ya gotta do work or you fail

No chewing gum.
No public signs of affection (hugging, kissing, etc.)
No iPods/MP3 players.
We HAVE to take a term of gym. (Two of our gym teachers were charged with molestation/sexual abuse. :P  )

In middle school they used to send us to the office if we "talked while the lights were out." x.x It was so freaking stupid.
