I dont understand why you people can't test this SMF out for a week or 2 and see how you really feel. Its only been one day and you're already complaining which tells me you haven't given it a chance yet.

I've never actually heard of this forum softawre before, But I do like it. I like how my picture is deplayed in the top there all the time , oh, and not to mention the coolness of this random thing...

If you REALLY want something that looks more like IPB, then go change the skin.  Go to your profile, then "Look and Layout Preferences", then click "Change" where it says Current Theme and select the "Classic YaBB SE" theme.  It looks more like IPB for all you complainers who can't take the 3 minutes it takes to get used to the new forums..

Really though, you'll find that SMF is pretty nice.  The default skin is just sort of really complicated looking.  Give us a week or so, and we'll have a couple of skins more like the ones we had.

I like it a lot.  I visit another board that has SMF installed, and I like it better than IPB really.
