Teenage Pregnancy

What do you think of teen pregnancy? Should it be allowed, accepted in today's society? Or is it one of the many things in life we should ban?

Strangely enough, I come from England, and the teenage pregnancy rate is higher there than any other country around us. What's the rating up there in the USA?

lol...how could someone ban teen-pregancy?  its sad that girls are gettin knocked up this early in life, but if she wants to go out and have sex and run the risk of gettin pregnant...thats her own call.  all people can do is just spread awareness about it.

I think it should be discouraged, mostly through government subsidized contraceptives, as in making condoms, sponges, "the pill", and/or morning after pills freely available without parental permission.

Yeah... you can't really ban it. It's their own fault if they go ahead and get pregnant.

Somebody in Australia told me that down there it's illegal to have sex if you're under 18.

I think that parents need to just be more careful about who their kids are going out with or talk to them about the dangers of underage sex.

A lot of Teenage Pregnancy's are caused by unsafe, and unprotected sex. Idealy using a condom, but somekind of birth control should be used. I know when I have sex, I'll use a condom.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

I just don't do it anyway. If I saw a Boggart (from Harry Potter) it would be a broken condom.

Would you rather put up a billboard saying Dont Have Sex or No Glove, No Love?

Id put up the latter, because everyone will eventualy have sex, and no ammount of saying its an evil sin and your going to hell is EVER going to change that.

people will have sex. they think they are "cool" because they did do it. oh well cant stop tards like them to think they arent cool cause they havent banged there gf/bf yet...i think the kid should be thrown in jail for a while to teach them a lesson. but if its a rape then thats different. other than girls parents or guys parents getting upset with them, they have no consequences for it except being yelled at. teens could care less. if theyhad some jail time it would be learned. (the lesson) but thats just my opinion

No wai! Some people say sex is for fun, like going here, but sex is something real. They usually fight after the baby is born, and they leave  the baby abandoned, which is bad =(

It's going to happen no matter how much propaganda video is shown in schools, organizations, etc. If you're going to do it, do it safely.

I'm against it,but when a teenager has a kid & has to go through the pains of birth I'll just sit there & luagh at them for not having her sex partner wear a condom.....

All you can do is have options open so that they can either prevent pregnancy from happening, or alternitave options in case it does happen. There is always going to be a certain percentage of teenagers having sex. If they are going to be having sex, they better own up to the consequences if they arise.

Early pregnancy among the teens are now widely acceptable especially in the high developed countries. It comes from the early independence children may ask from their parents. In any aspect, it should not be allowed yet. This is one way to avoid the explosion of the population in which the children suffer.
