I, myself, am Christian, but I don't think you should force people to believe in it. They should think whatever the hell they want.

No, because people wouldn't believe anyways. This is what makes America America. The land where you have freedom and choice... which is very limited these days...

But let people have the choice to follow God or not, those who don't won't go to Heaven anyways so they end up paying for it in the end...

Those who don't follow God won't go to heaven.......

Just a thought experiment.

If you lived on an island that was seperated from the rest of the world, and on this island, you did not have a religion, but you were a good person, your going to hell?

Off topic, but its in the bounds of religion.

I have no problem with Christian's even the "Religious Right". I just have problems with the ones who push their religion down your throat.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

*sigh* I have already answered this one...

If you are a good person, but have never even heard about God in your whole life, you'd be considered as an innocent baby or lamb who did not know any  better.

This thought is in the same styling as Dante's Inferno, I believe.

I believe it.

Then are not christians doing evil by spreading the word of God? Would it not be better for no one to have ever heard of Jesus, and thus all would be saved?

What? Who? lol

And for the one or two people who are always against God on any forum, there is a difference between not ever hearing about God and being a good person, and hearing about God but refusing to follow him even though your a good person.

If you have heard of Him then you should know good things about Him and to follow God. You have heard the words of God and have had many opurtunities to take Him into your heart and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. You have heard of The Father, and you have the very important oppurtunity to embrace the fact to follow Him.

But,.. if you haven't heard of Him then no crime shall be held agaisnt you, because you had no oppurtunites. You cannot help that you haven't ever heard of Him. He will not hold that agaisnt you when judgment time comes.

However if you have heard of Him then you should embrace the fact that you knew about Him. You must have 3 basic things to get to Heaven, with the exception of the people who have never heard of Him.

1. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior

2. Believe he is the Son of God

3. Have a personal relationship with Him.

Whenever you pray to Him, you can ask of Him to repent your sins and he will gladly do it. But You must have the three things listed above for you to be a follower. And just asking over and over to repent your sins is telling God that you know you will be forgiven, so you will go do whatever it is thats sinful anyways and then ask for forgivness. It does not work that way. God will know what you  are trying to do.

See there we go, it should be the highest crime in human society to tell others about God, because then you strip them of guaranteed entrance into heaven.
