We had to read a book called "Life of Pi" for freshman orientation at my college.

It stressed that main point above. Arguing about which religion is right or wrong or has the best rules set up is pointless.

No, he will not go to hell! Gandhi was a peaceful leader and revolutionary who inspired others, such as Martin Luther King, Jr.

And why did you aim it towards Christians? How about: "Will Gandhi go to hell because he did not accept Buddha as his savior?" or "Mohhamad"?

If he was a Christian like he had claimed, then he would have accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, had a personal relationship, and believe Jesus is the Son of God. If he believed those three things then yes he will be in Heaven.

But you cannot just put out that he was the most peacful and loving man alive, but since he didn't believe in God, that he will go to Hell. That is twisting the mind of what seems right and wrong. Yes, he was a peaceful, loving man, but if he didn't do the three things and recieve Jesus, then as the others have said, he is frying bacon for Satan right now.

You people are being ridiculous! I don't know if you know this, but the Catholic church accepts all religions. Any path you take is fine, as long as it leads you to heaven. Similar to what cmonkey said, Gandhi was the closest person to coming close to meeting Jesus's standards. So, he's going to burn in hell, because he doesn't believe Jesus was God? Gandhi believed in God, so... isn't that enough?
