Nick's "Good Ole' Days"
« on: August 20, 2006, 05:53:48 pm »
Post your favorite old show on Nick that has been cancelled, or not aired so much any more.  Your favorite "classics", ex. Rocket Power, Kablam, Pinky & the Brain, etc.

Mine:
Pinky and the Brain, Rocket Power, Hey, Arnold!

Those were all great shows. Doug was a great show too. Too bad most of you don't remember the good ole' days of Nick in the mid 90's.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

I cant believe I never replied in this topic >_<;;

I would consider anything that they took off...to be a classic. Yes, even if it just got taken off, it was definetly one of Nick's better shows that they have aired this year or last year. These new shows are not cutting it.

My favorites would have to be Doug, Kenan & Kel, and anything in the 80s & 90s Nick.

Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, Doug, AAAAH! Real Monsters, Anrgy Beavers, Hey Arnold, Kablam!, Kenan and Kel, (Old) All That, Salute Your Shorts, and Stick Stickley.

Those were the days. I love old-school Nickelodeon.

The Rugrats were going on for waaaaay too long. I loved that show but to keep it going would be really really moronic.

two things to be said:
 First would be favorite shows:

old Rugrats, Ahh, Real Monsters, Angry Beavers, Rocko, Ren and Stimpy, Kablam, anything really old on Nick.

Second would be this:

For all you that love these shows, there's a channel that airs them called Nicktoons.

I remember watching Rugrats (I watched the Paris movie recently on TV), Angry Beavers, The Amanda Show (does that count as an "old" Nick show?), etc... I've watched like one episode of the other shows like Aah! Real Monsters... I watch Rocko from time to time, I remember one time my mom not wanting me to watch because they had an Elevator to Hell in it or something.

I used to watch so much Pete and Pete, Rocko's Modern Life, Clarissa, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Allen Strange, the older All That and Rugrats. Sorry, there was this period that I was too stuck up with music videos.

The computer virus episode gave me the creeps, I was afraid to go outside for a couple of days.
I remember a live action show that i cant remember the name, it was about a girl who obtain powers and tried to keep them secret to prevent being experimented on.

I honestly don't even really watch SpongeBob anymore, though I still hold the old episodes in high regard of course. The last time I watched Nick, it was this "The Might B" or whatever...absolutely purly AWFUL, like this seriously makes some of the other shows they've had in the past couple years look like genius.

And I will admit it for the first time in the [very disjointed] 3 or 4 years or so I've come to this forum, I've always liked Drake & Josh, and I no longer feel afriad to say it.

Whats sad is that as bad as Nick is now, it still SLAYS Disney Channel, that makes Nick now look like dolphin noise Adult Swim...it's that bad.

Yeah, i really wish they hadn't cancelled too much. iCarly is okay though. but the old Nick was AWESOME. Now Nick is nothing but crap. It is much better than Disney, i have to agree to that.
