Hey, could anyone tell me if you need a memory card for the Wii? If so, could you post the price and capacity?

I havent heard anyone talk about a memory card, and there is no memory card slot on the machine (there is an SD card slot, but I think they would put in a memory card slot so that you dont have to take out your memory card every time you need to upload photos). I know that there is a Wii themed SD card, so are they using SD cards as memory cards? Also, couldnt you just save games to the 512 MB of storage space?

Actually. I just read on 2 or 3 threads on the nintendo forums that you can use the built in 512MB to store game saves, so I dont need an SD card.

The only thing I don't like about the Wii is that you have to pay to use the browser.

Not really. There is no monthly fee last time I checked, just a one time-fee, and if you download it before July 2007, your good, because it is free until then.

For the first 6 months after launch, you don't have to pay the 1-time fee.

If you buy Wii after the 6 months, I think it's a 1 time fee of 10$.
