Warner Bros. owns the rights to 6 & 7 so it doesn't matter what she wants.

They CAN'T unfortunately.

They didn't film more than is on the dvd's.

I can see why J.K Rowling wants to stop.

They have been butchering it ever since Prisoner of Azkaban.

Since it's getting so close to the release date...

We're going to see this with a bunch of friends at a midnight premiere in IMAX theater.  Normally, I don't follow "release dates" too well... but since school's out I've missed my friends and we're all obsessed with HP... so we had to.

It looks really good, actually.  They've made it seem a lot more dramatic than the others... and the effects look AMAZING.  But still... the fact that it's the shortest movie yet lingers over all the positive things about it... especially since it's the longest book.

In the film maker's defense, the book had a lot of stuff that wouldn't translate well into a movie

We saw it last night at the premiere... it was AMAZING.  Tonks, Bellatrix, and Luna were my favorite characters... perfect casting there.  And the 2 instances of all the glass shattering in the Ministry were great.  I loved how they used short clips from the previous movies in the Occlumency classes... that was great.  But anyways, it is my favorite HP movie now.

I saw at the 11:59 show Tuesday night and it was packed. The movie was really good but of course I came up with all the scenes and little details they missed. I did like Luna better than I imagined her in the book. I didn't think the last scene with Harry and Voldemort would have been like that and Sirius's death was weird. Dumbledore barely explained to Harry what the prophecy meant and how Neville and Trelawney were involved They didn't even include any quidditch but overall I think they did a pretty good job with what they did show. The action was better than the other movies. I liked all the decrees being posted and all the hidden jokes.

I'm not sure if I want to see this one in theaters, I'd rather see the new Die Hard.

not true. They filmed a lot more, but they couldn't fit it in. They took a lot of it out during editing.
