That was, by far, the most idiotic video I've EVER seen.

Okay that video was retarded. Praying to a jug of freakin milk doesn't do a thing because HELLO it's a stupid plastic contaner filled with cow milk. And I think we all know that God isn't milk, so there is a difference between praying to beverages and God.

All Seeing Eye:

When you can make a topic that cannot be related to religion in any way, then MAYBE you will receive some credibility.  So far you've just shown us all you can do is debate something that cannot be proven in any way.  Every topic you make somehow gets traced back to religion because you think that it makes you seem like a better debater if you can argue over something that can't be proven because then you can't be wrong.

All your topics lack credibility.  This one included.

If prayer was fake, then Islam, Christianity, Wicca, Hinduism, and every other religion that prays to a Deity(Or more than one) is useless...

Prove me wrong, all of you pray for me to be christian and see the light. If God exists and prayer works, then you will have accomplished one of the main goals of christianity and served your lord.

Well If you know about God, we will pray for you and help you, but first you must help yourself. You are purposley denying Him, and you know you will always turn Him down, making it impossible for you to become a Christian. You do not win this debate.

And I know Liz, I was lolling as well when I read that ^_^

You aren't a christian because you are rejecting God. You have to accept him. It doesn't work the way you want it to. You have to accept Jesus as your savior.

Well here's how I have faith. I use positive and logical thinking at the same time when I worry about something. By that I mean I think of all the possible outcomes of a situation that would benefit me, or whoever I'm worrying for.

He keeps posting topics about religion over and over and it's already obvious what his views are.  We don't need just another topic about how he thinks religion is stupid.

Why should he? There is nothing in the rules that says he can't defend himself. ASE attacks people of religion. He doesn't debate, he flames and it's quite apparent - I am surprised you have not seen it yet.

You ever think that your opinion on the matter is a bit biased since you basically agree with him?  You don't see how it's offensive to everyone else because you're an atheist too...

Besides, it's kinda hard to ignore 1000 threads about the same stuff.

No, it has nothing to do with the fact that I agree with some of the stuff he says. I don't care if you try to disprove him, just don't start flaming.

and plus, I don't think I've ever said I'm an atheist. You probably just assumed that because I don't give into Christianity though.

I'm pretty sure you've told me before in private conversation that you think religion is stupid.  Therefore you are an atheist.

As far as flaming goes...he needs to make an attempt to not start flame wars.  He posts stuff that he knows is going to start flame wars.  Maybe you should take some action against him for once instead of blaming it on everyone else.

Maybe he meant religion as in organized religion. In that case... he's kind of right.

People should stop saying this video is stupid. I'm Christian, and I will say this video uses rationalized thought and fact to support its point. Nothing stupid there.

That's what the video said. Milk won't answer prays just as he believes God won't. Besides I meant every fact and rationalized thought could not be deemed stupid. The opinions are views.

Why don't we just ban the idiot from the Debate Den like we did with MSP?

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

Or you can do some administrative work and warn him to stop trying to make it worse...or better yet just keep him out of the debate den...

When David says he's like MSP, he means that they both post just to make people mad. I know you see it.  I know it was also the reason MSP was banned from the Debate Den.  So why don't you do the same to ASE?  Because you agree with him.

I think organized religion is dumb.

You're just adding fuel to the fire. He's the type of person who gets a kick out of making people upset. Just try ignoring him, and I'm sure he wouldn't have as much fun.

I could never agree with you more. GO ROGER!!!

Seriously, cut out the flaming on Carter, or I'm going to have to start suspending people.

He brings it on his self...

He keeps posting topics about religion over and over and it's already obvious what his views are.  We don't need just another topic about how he thinks religion is stupid.
...did you ever think about IGNORING his posts then?

You ever think that your opinion on the matter is a bit biased since you basically agree with him?  You don't see how it's offensive to everyone else because you're an atheist too...

Besides, it's kinda hard to ignore 1000 threads about the same stuff.

I also agree with Roger.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

well, this thread is over 50% off-topic non-debating nonsense....i think i'll close it...

even I agree with some stuff ASE has said lately. And I also want to ban him forever and ever and ever for other stuff that he's also posted lately.

he's throwing fuel on the fire to get debates rolling, but that doesn't mean that everything he says is stupid.

I'll try to talk to him.

MSP wasn't bad for posting stuff to make people mad, he was banned because he wasn't adding anything to a debate. He was essentially just posting his opinion, outright flaming his opponents, and not adding anything.
