Two modern teenagers are mysteriously transported into the fictious community of Pleasantville, the setting of a black and white 1950's television show. Through their actions the people of Pleasantville begin to experience strong emotion and consequently, events in town begin to deviate from the accepted norm.
I studied this one in English, and I find the movie excellent; while funny, it delivers a message about how we take colour for granted.
The technical department deserved an Oscar for that movie!!
