I'd say a new computer. You'll get a lot more use out of it over a cell phone.

What all do you need out of this list?
1. XP
2. Monitor
3. Keyboard
4. Mouse/MousePad

Cause doing a pimp computer under 700 is easy, but throw XP or a new monitor into that and it becomes a lil harder if you want a decent video card. Just my 2 cents.

And personally, I'd go AM2...

I pretty much have everything picked out. I just need help on a mobo which I want for less then $120 and i want to know if I should get 1GBx1 RAM or 512MBx2 RAM? I would upgrade to 1GBx2 RAM later in this year if I get 1GBx1.

then ur sure as heck missing something if you planned out a system under 700$

oh wait...1gb ram..nm lol

you'll have to request someone else's help, as core2duo boards aren't my thing. I'd suggest tracking down cmonkey with a PM and point him here :)

i'll def need a link to that ecs mobo...most, imo, are junk.

and i don't see a power supply up there, unless 1 is bundled with the case...and atrix PSUs are quite scary....

Question: Do you already have your own computer? If it already has xp, then you could use that (even though they tell you not to). Its not like you reinstall windows every month like i do...lol

Yes you'll definently need another power supply, so i suggest dropping down to the 7600GT...good performance for the money....not much less than the 7900gs...

that mobo definently needs to go...i'll find you another one after i'm done eating...
