Sorry, but until you give a valid reason against gay marriage other then your fantasy book then I can't respect your opinion, Danny.

Nothing personal against you. I am just sick of people denying us our GIVEN RIGHT to marry whom we choose.
Calling it a "fantasy book" and constantly attacking it is hardly showing respect.
I get sick and tired of the religious right nuts worrying more about gay marriage being legalized yet they will sit right back and watch their government murder thousands of innocent people. Look at it from my point of view maybe?

even though it does state marriage should only be between a man and a woman,
that was 49572934729347239472394 years ago. this is now.

Whoa. This was supposed to be a topic about humor, not religious debate, wasn't it? Forgive me o mighty admins of the above, but if you're going to start a whole war out of this, either someone move this topic, lock it altogether, or take the fighting somewhere else. FFS, we get enough of that stuff in the debate den, don't feed the fire and spread it all over the place.

It was meant as a joke but it turned into debate... anyways, this is wasteland. As long as there is no flaming anythinf goes.

And perhaps calling it a fantasy book is harsh, but I just get made at over religious people sometimes. I apologize.

I was just trying to prevent it from BECOMING a flame war. Not to challenge your maturity or anything...

I think either everyone should be allowed to marry or nobody should be allowed to marry.

Anyways, my God thinks everyone deserves equality. The Christian God can kiss my *BLEEP*

You're god rocks. I don't have a god in my religion. XD

I understand your way of live and/or point of view. I still think that it might tramautize some kids with the endless making-fun-of and other nasty things kids do to each other at that delicate age.

I do understand that kids need adopted tho...so I am at a quandry in my feelings and beliefs...

hmmm

I must meditate on this.

Even if it does happen, all it will do is help the kid become stronger and more tolerant in the future.

Bleh.

I believe Gay Marriage is wrong.

But.

Marriage is so twisted out of God's idea now.

So, why do they even bother not letting it.. =\

What is God's idea, Oh Revealer?

Marriage is so twisted out of the idea of Christian leaders.

His Idea is for a Man and Woman who *love* each other the brought together in the Eyes of God.

But, A lot of Marriages have nothing to do with Love now a days...

How do YOU know what God wants?!

"The religious persecution of the ages has been done under what was claimed to be the command of God. I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do to their fellows, because it always coincides with their own desires."
- Susan B. Anthony
