As much as I dispise the Westboro clowns and everything they stand for, it is within their First Amendment rights to do what they want to with the American Flag.
Shiznit.

That should be fixed...

No... it shouldn't. The flag is a series of threads woven together to create a certain pattern... and how is that in any way bad that we are allowed to whatever we want with it?

Honestly, it doesn't bother me when they do what they do to the flag... it is just that. A flag. They could dolphin noise on the thing for all I care. But it's the way they do everything else that pisses me off.

it's the fact that this is what they are teaching their children is what got me. a child should be able to grow up however he or she wants, you know? being able to express their own opinions. here they are going to be called "stupid" at even a  hint they have their own minds.

Word. It's pretty sad when a 21 year old woman living on her own has to ask Mommy's permission to go out.

Lol what are you talking about?  Unless they already shared your beliefs to begin with, you can't reason with anyone period.  :P

You can reason with people that have different belief systems. You however, can't reason with idiots, feminists, neo-nazis- or fundies.

Reasoning does not mean changing someone's mind on a particular subject... reasoning can be agreeing to disagree, which I believe you and I have.
