Rescued kittah today
« on: June 29, 2007, 07:40:25 pm »
So, I was leaving work when a couple other co-workers saw this kitty in front of the door. A co-worker and I take it to the animal vet and they look over it. We didn't notice the hole in it's leg until we left work, btw. This is a HOLE and not just some flesh peeled off. You can stick a q-tip in it

So, we get it checked up and x-rayed and we find a bunch of maggots inside of it. The kitty looks to have been beaten up and the maggots chewed the hole even bigger. They get all the maggots out with some sort of liquid (didn't pay attention to what kind).

So, I have this kitty now and I'm taking it home with me tomorrow because a really good friend of my mom & dad's is a vet and we're going to get it checked up with them before going back to the vet here.

This kitty is not the kind to attack. It's real nice and doesn't scratch at all. Didn't even mind the vet giving it shots and pouring liquids inside of it.

CLIFFS: found kitty, took to vet, got medicine for it, taking home to vet friend at home to get more check-up on it

Kitty sleepy.

Hole in leg. Exact same on the other side of leg. Just a little flesh keeping holes seperated.

R.I.P. kitty

Wasn't blinking. Could touch his eye and he wouldn't move. He was still breathing but there was nothing left to do so they had to put him to sleep

did the vet say if the kitten only had a slim chance of making it on the first visit?

I'm sorry Tim. You're a pretty good kid. Kudos.

...

The other day when I was driving back home like at 1 in the morning, I saw two cats having random seizures on the sidewalk. It was one of the scariest things I've seen. It was also hilarious though.

cats with seizures need medical attention.  my friend Dirty Milkman has a cat that seizes, and he has to give it shots everyday.  apparently, it pees itself when it has an episode.

Holes in both legs? I wonder how that happened..

Holes on front left leg. A small amount of skin was keeping the hole seperated.
