What's the matter if they remove trans-fats? It's not like it's government mandated, a lot of the fast food places are doing it on their own. and really, you can't taste a difference.

That's very true.

And getting rid of smoking in public places is better for other people. Second hand smoke can be just as bad, if not worse, then smoking the ciggeratte yourself.

You can't be selfish, and you need to worry about the well being of other people.

As for being a fat lard, that is your problem. If you want to be fat, and eat greasy disgusting crap, then cook it yourself.  the resturaunt makes the menu, you order from it. If you don't like what they offer, then go make it yourself.

i thought that who cares it they dont use transfats?  cant they use regular fats?  then i tried the french fries and they stunk.  And i said there is no proof that second hand smoke is harmful.  None whatsoever.  They dont pass these smoking bans for fear of other people getting sick off 2nd hand smoke.  they pass them to piss off smokers so smokers won't smoke.  which is so stupid u know how much the gov. makes off a taxes from cigarettes?!  And global warming ain't science, it's science freakin fiction!  Al Gore that jerk goin to congress to get that global warming crap passed.  The only thing that's gonna rise is my blood pressure when taxes go up to fight something i dont believe in!!!

I have no problem with either "ban."  What is this transfats "ban?"  I thought restaurants were offering somewhat healthier choices because it's the current trend and they would make more money that way.  As far as smoking in public, whatever.  Go smoke outside, you don't need to smoke at the dinner table.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that way.

You can't smoke in any building in Cali unless it's a casino or a hookah bar.  :P
I enjoy the occasional cigar or whatever but you don't need to be burnin one when yur at a restaurant or somethin like that.

If people are going to be smoking outside, they need to be sitting far enough away to where they are not by the door and the smoke comes inside when the waiters open the door.
