Right, so previous owners will need to have spent 500 $ if they decide they want the 120...that's still not 600 dollars.

And I think you didn't see my other post.

I can choose either a decade of Xbox Live ($600 dollars) OR blow it on a PS3 ($600) + expensive bluray disc games and micro transactions (?)
no you can have $200 worth of xbox live to be equaly compared to the price of the ps3(thats not including the dvd add on.)And PS3 games are the same price as xbox 360...and for movies,blu-ray is way better than hd dvd and generally its 4 or 5 dollars more.
There's still the fact that blu-ray and hd-dvd are ridiculously unnecessary.

I dont see what makes them unnecessary...ANd the only reason why there are more games for 360 right now is simply because its been out longer. Also something I forgot to say earlier is that I really like the fact that every month an update comes out for PS3.

The only reason they're pushing for a new format is because they can't shove enough DRM in a DVD.

Errr...currently. Many developers have announced strong possibilities of 65$ + for PS3 titles.

Also, let's do some math for the Xbox Live. The PS3 costs $600 after the price drop is gone. Xbox Live is $5 a month.

5x12 (# of months in a year...) = 60. 60 x 10 (a decade...) equals...*drumroll please* 600 $$$$

No. You said that Xbox Live subscription adds up and is very expensive. I was saying that I can have a decade of XBL or a PS3, I can still have XBL without an Xbox, my point was the price comparison which I made after, as I said, tried using the free PS3 online as an excuse and that the XBL subscription costs a lot, when I can have it for a decade for the price of a PS3, the system in which you are defending the price of.

And can you name any games right now that make the PS3 worthwhile, ones that aren't available for other systems?

And for the 360: Viva Pinata, PDZ (not amazing, some people liked it a lot), Kameo (same as before), Most of the stuff on XBLA, Deadrising, and many more depending on personal tastes.

Coming Soon: Fable 2, Halo 3 (don't care for it but the majority of the world does) and many more, I can't even begin to list.

And please don't say Killzone 2...the first one looked "amazing" and it came out and it sucked. I don't understand why history is beginning to repeat itself.
