What accent or dialect do you have?

I have a Brooklyn accent.  I was born in NJ but I lived in Brooklyn almost the first yr. of my life.  Plus my dad  has a Brooklyn accent.  I also have a little bit of a NJ dialect i lived there young too but i lived in Brooklyn for a little while first.  My mother has the New Jersey Dialect but i still mostly speak Brooklyn.  My dad moved to KS cause he was in the military but every summer for the last 17 yrs. i go to NJ to visit relatives.  I'm in NJ now.

I speak like an idiot. I have a high, girly voice. Sometimes my Texan accent comes out. Well alot. And I like to say y'all.

I have whatever accent people from Buffalo have.  So what i'm saying is I have no accent.

My voice changes for whatever reason, usually I sound kind of like an Eastern European even though I was born in America.

oh lord well i hate twangy accents and flat accents.  The North Eastern dialects are beautiful and singsongy, not possibly to be hated!  And if you are from Buffalo, you do indeed have a Newyorkish accent...Howdy Doody's to be exact!
