Pointing out somebody has to pee in 3 back to back episodes(IE the donut of shame sb having to pee in dream sequence)

All Patrick did to the donut and then sb and pat eating it

and much much more.  they didnt use to do sick things now they are going back to the days of renandstimpyesque.  But i dont mind its funny to me.  anything else people remember from the newer ones gross?

Yep, moronic writers. Who cares if SpongeBob has to pee?
April Fool: I'm the April Fool. What's up with that?
Timmy: It's official, this guy sucks. I wish he was somewhere else!
*Poof!*
Timmy: Where'd you guys poof him to?
*Both fairies give evil smiles*
April Fool: I never asked for this!
Jorgen: Shut up, or I'll have Chuck Norris roundhouse kick you in the face again!

Yeah, I've noticed that too. Fungus Among Us and A Flea in Her Dome seem like really good examples..

The 4th and 5th season for me totally lack the genuine humor of the first 3 seasons. They seem to be re-hashing ideas, and relying on random gross things to make it funny. But it just seems a bit stale now really.

Saying that though they do still come up with some proper classic jokes still!

Like in S4 "Mermaid-Man 6" when SB picks up the ground and sucks out worms. Just stupid gross stuff.

Chongster has hit some really good points here.

Another recent example: "Krabs a La Mode," when Plankton gets swallowed by the old guy.  While Plankton's line "In 4 to 6 hours I will get my revenge" is clever, the implication is a bit gross, when later the toilet flushes and we see a wet Plankton opening the bathroom door.  There's a good example of "gross" if I ever saw one!

That joke reminds me of one in Plankton's Army when Mr. Krabs says "and now for the chaser" after flushing Plankton down the toilet.

I was scared when I watched ´Shell Of A Man´, but I´m a wimp....apparently.

I tolerated the scatology in current Spongebob episdoes at times but I find Patrick picking his nose in public distubring. The rest a bit silly and horrendous or droll at the same time.

I wish Spongebob would have better writers, especially Jay Leno and the writing crew of Saturday Night Live and Seinfeld.

Here's some song to make myself feel sick:

Or nevermind.

Patrick's dumbness has gone to an extreme in the 4th and 5th seasons. It's not as funny as it used to be. =\
