Asteroids aren't the end of the world. Global warming is.
I think Manbearpig is a bigger threat than global warming.

Meh. I don't care either way if this Earth is obliterated. Just so long as I die right away.

So, if it were the end of the world as we knew it, you'd feel fine?

I'd be fine with it... if I didn't know it was gonna happen until it did.

My thoughts exactly.
But the media can't keep these things quiet now, can they?

Quote
A "doomsday" asteroid is defined as one with a diameter greater than .6 mile (1 km), which could cause global climatic catastrophe if it collided with Earth. Debris from such a collision would be predicted to cause worldwide clouding and cooling, with possibly disastrous effects on crops and animals.

Such asteroids come along perhaps once every 100,000 years or more, according to the newly approved Torino scale that assesses how asteroid and comet collisions would affect life on Earth.

A "doomsday" rock would rate a Torino 10, the highest rating. But the vast majority of asteroids rate a zero, "events having no likely consequences," according to the Torino scale.

REM are the only ones who'd feel fine, trust me.

Seriously though, if an asteroid hits, I don't want to be a casulty of it. I WANNA LIVE, DANGIT! :'(

Besides, I bet they'll have put civilizations on the moon by then. :D

Well, I have also read December 12, 2012 is supposed to be the end of the world, due to an asteroid colliding with Earth. Every other day is the "End of the World", so really, you never know.

A lot of people think that 2012 will be the end of the World due because the Mayans predicted it and apparently theres parallels with the Bible...

Honestly I'd be more worried about this than any religious bullshit, because at least theres actual scientific proof that this could be a threat here. However, now that their saying it's prolly not a big deal anymore even so I'm not worried.

If your teacher gives you an F, it is wrong to say "Well what do you expect moron! I didn't study!"
