Lupin the 3rd and cowboy bebop seem way too playboyish and mature for my tatses in anime, even though Dragon ball and dr slump had some rauncy humor but that was the 80s-early 90s and are wrold was more stable.

If I wnated an serious nicktoon i would watch wild thornberrys or for a serious toon in the us because I have naemd all the animes I have watched or at least held candle too(and still do)

I would perfer
Masters of the universe (origanal for i think there was a remakeand i have only had scant luck liking remakes)
thundercats
vintage transformers
the animated highlander series that lasted very briefly

lupin the 3rd is just good late-nite humor. it's not something to watch before midnight lol

and cowboy bebop...well, if you can't find anything you like in cowboy bebop then i have little advice for you. The same team that animated and plotted CB did many other anime that i think you would enjoy (getbackers, FMP, about a billion others)

Not to start a flame war but.....

Sorry, I hate that show, it gives me a headache. The voice actors all have mind numbing voices (not the good way). Also not funny at all just running gags that get old after 4th use and while I'm at it, no original storyline either just old recycled ones. no stereotypes: Hmmm the loud mouth, the love sick young girl, The cool guy, the wise teacher....... Also, more mindful characters, are you kidding, their actions are as baffling as they get, Ex. why don't they just teleport to safety if they are being chased, there are innumerable instances where their powers could be used smartly to instantly win a battle.

its why they have a huge following...cause there's so many episodes.
