Christmas Day (12-25-10)
Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have six updates planned for my website today -- the first concerns my having shot a medium-sized video (~51.99MB) of the "i-Lit" Portable Stereo Speakers responding to music from the computer demo "Verses" from 1992, the second concerns my having shot another video of the same speakers reacting to the music from the Commodore 64 "trainer" for the game "Wasteland", the next three concern my having performed spectroscopy of the fluorescence of the "star-shaped" bulb covers on the Target LED Star Christmas Lights when irradiated with the Wicked Lasers Spyder 3 Arctic 445nm 1W Blue Diode Laser (2), and the last is an update to my "Picture du Jour" web page with...what else...you got it!!! A NEW PICTURE ;-)

Code: [Select]
01-06-11 {or "06 Jan 2011" or even "Jan 06 Twenty Double Sticks" if you prefer}
Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have only four updates planned for my website today -- the first two are updates (including photographs) to my Ohsen Red LED Wristwatch's web page stating that the band snapped, but that I was able to repair it with the band from another LED watch that went to pot last May, the third is an update to my iLite USB Computer Light's eval. to remove a dead link and replace it with a known-good one, and the last is an update to my "Picture du Jour" web page with...what else...you got it!!! A NEW PICTURE!!! ;-)

This is the watch with the busted watchband.

This is the same watch, repaired.

This is the iLite USB Computer Light.

And this is my "Picture du Jour".

A look (somewhat) down Gastineau Channel in Juneau AK. USA in late-summer 1992; this view shows Douglas Island.
This photograph was taken approximately midspan of the Juneau-Douglas bridge...correction! Looks like it was taken from the steamship dock near Marine Park -- that's a very high probability anyway. The large ship's name isn't known (it's possibly the Veendam or the Rotterdam), but it's one of the *MANY* cruise ships that make Juneau one of their ports of call in the summer.

My weblog (or "blog" if you prefer) requires no updates as of this posting.

I have no outside trips planned for today.
