yeah, the episodes have been sucking since 2005. dont expect it to get any better any time soon.

I cant stand how high Spongebob's voice has gotten over time, to me the new episodes are watchable though not that enjoyable

Nope, it's not just you. The original spongebob is gone. Now the episodes are lame. You can't even compare the first few seasons with the new ones.

He's always been childish, though. I think the newer episodes are making him out to be a borderline psychopath, though.
