I rather Windows over Ubuntu any day simplify because Ubuntu hates Socket AM2/AM2+ processors. Fedora runs fine on every system I've tried on it, I don't see why people use Ubuntu over it. You can do everything on Ubuntu in Fedora and it will perform better.

Fedora ran like a turd with wheels on my system, and it couldn't even figure out what resolution to put my monitor at.
Ubuntu automatically detected the VX900T and put it at 1280x1020 with no edges cut off, and didn't bork my system when I uninstalled it.

Why do you use AMD?

Because when I built this computer last year, I liked AMD better but now I like Intel so much more and what version of Fedora did you use?
