Windows Media Player won't open
« on: September 11, 2008, 06:13:47 pm »
I've had this problem since I've been on this new computer.

I am on XP Service pack 2.

I go to open Windows Media Player but nothing happens. No error message or anything, it just does nothing. It doesn't even enter the processes in Task manager. I've tried launching it directly (instead of using the shortcut) and that doesn't work either. I've tried reinstalling it and that also doesn't work.

No viruses.

If you're on a AMD Athlon 64 X2, Intel Core 2 Duo or a Quad Core, upgrade to Vista. If not, then upgrade to XP Service Pack 3.
