Hmm, Spring Awakening is fantastic.  My favorite might be Rent... I hate to say so though because then people assume that you don't really like musical theatre, you just like Rent.

I saw Mamma Mia, it was fabulous. A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is HILARIOUS and fun.

Ahahaha, you have not been influenced by the classics I see!

It's a wonderful musical comedy set in ancient Rome with lots of bawdy jokes and bad puns.  I think wikipedia has a blurb on it.

Avenue Q rocked my socks.  It's still not my favorite musical, but it definitely made a good Christmas gift and a wonderful afternoon. :)

I've seen more than a few live, but my favorite ones were Avenue Q on Broadway when I visited New York and Mamma Mia here in LA.

I thought double posting on this forum meant a mandatory minimum sentence of being eaten alive... oh well.

I haven't had the fortune of seeing a stage musicals so I rely mostly on movies - most recently watching Moulin Rouge.
