Forum meeting
« on: June 17, 2009, 04:42:38 pm »
I don't know how many older member still visit here, but an older member, Megan (http://www.unitedspongebob.com/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=67) came out East and we met. It's kinda strange to think that we met on this board about 5 years ago and then met each other in person. Just thought I'd pass that along to any older board-goers.
Mr. Krabs: Do you smell it..that smell...a kind of smelly smell...a smelly smell that smells smelly. Anchovies.
Squidward: What?
Mr. Krabs: ANCHOVIES!
Anchovies: MEEP, MEEP, MEEP.

I probably won't be on here too much being in college and all. I will try to pop on every once in a while though to share my thoughts.

I remember Megan said that my fingernails were gross, (pic) and I got really pissed off!
There is no such thing as peace and there never will be. Peace is a delusion believed by the weak. Gandhi said : "An eye of an eye would leave the whole world blind". So be it because only a blind world can experience the peace that it deserves. But there in lay the sick irony. Who will be able to see this peace? The human species is at war. The enemy walks among us nearly invisible. Only those with true discernment can see them. But only one with discernment and vision can show them to others

Woah! thats too cool. Me and Joe were going to meet, but some stuff came up and I had to leave back home for a couple months. He would have lived like less than 10 minutes away from me.

Megan and I have talked on and off after we left the board. She mentioned coming out east and we planned on meeting. I've talked to Hannah a few times, but not recently; she'd be cool to meet. Most people I don't talk to anymore. I remember years ago there was talk of a forum meeting event at a neutral location, but it fell through because everybody was like 14-16 and everybody was broke.

Wow. This is crazy lol. This board is really old school. Some of you already know but I'm still a huge internet addict and really addicted to youtube now. Check my profile for a link. Yes. I'm still a loser. :)

I still talk to Kevin and Chris, lost contact with way too many people here, wish I could still talk to a few of them.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

Well regardless, you're not 14 now, where talking about a meetup is like forbidden fruit.

I'd love to do a meetup sometime before the forums kasplode.

I'd be up for forum meeting that is more than 2 people. :-p I just wonder where would be a good location? I can't stray too far from the Philadelphia area right now because I start working there again soon. I should be done with school by next summer and that would give me more of an opportunity to travel. Any suggestions on a date and/or a location?

At least in the next year

I don't know how many people you were considering, but I have the ability to get some F-level seats at reasonable prices.

Haven't checked USB in a while... 3 people including myself are interested in seeing the Flyers at Pens at some point in 2010 (preferably Mar 27). What would that cost to get?

The Mar 27th game is like....end of season super high priced tickets for a huge rivalry. That one I cannot help on unfortunately.

stubhub has right now:
Balcony F 13 Row D - 3 seats - 80$ each
On ticket exchange, those same seats are selling for 218$ each BUYYYYY NOOWWWWWWW

They also have some tickets for Lower E (the first 5 rows are almost a seperate section and are MUCH BETTER)
Balcony E 32 Row B - 3 seats - $100 each

The worst seats in the building are E section above the first 5-6 rows.
