most of you have lost your avatar

(I think) I know the problem

the avatars are too big for the new forum and so cant be displayed, if you want your avatar back then do one of the folowing

1. make the picture smaller

2. find the picture from the website you got it from and copy its URL onto the avatar screen

Actually, it's probably because when the forums were down then some of them got deleted. Just re-upload them and they'll be as good as new.

Try getting an image hoster to host your avatar...that's how I got mine up.

Same here. If it was too big it would of resized it for you. Perhaps theres somthing wrong with your picture. Try hosting it like hannah said.

Well, duh. But cmonkey is ON VACATION. I don't expect him to fix any of it right away. I'm sure you'll live without an avatar for a week or so. Or, maybe if you would actually like to take some time out of your busy life, you could get your avatar hosted by an image server. That's what I did with mine.

The problem was that I didn't get a chance to set the permissions for the upload folder. Now that I'm home, I can.
