This therd is for the eternal Mac vs. PeeCee debate. Each platform fanboy will post their oppions on each system. It needs to me more then the Macs Suxx, or PeeCee's are for geeks. YOu need to back-up your opion.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

Ok, first off, its not PeeCee. Its PC. It stands for Personal Computer.

Well, I hate macintosh computers. They suck, and all the hardware is propritary(sp?), meaning you can only get it from Apple. And I used Macs for 7 years. They suck.

PC: Dunno.

Mac: Our Mac has had every error known to man... and then some. One time it said: "This could not be opened because of an error (-3045) has occured."
April Fool: I'm the April Fool. What's up with that?
Timmy: It's official, this guy sucks. I wish he was somewhere else!
*Poof!*
Timmy: Where'd you guys poof him to?
*Both fairies give evil smiles*
April Fool: I never asked for this!
Jorgen: Shut up, or I'll have Chuck Norris roundhouse kick you in the face again!

I don't like Macs because Apple is the only company that makes them.  There is no competition so prices stay way too high.  Windows isn't great, but with it you can at least build your own computer cheaply.

Not any more, crash's never. My Mac has had only crahsed 5 times in 2 years. And unlike a PeeCee, they don't need safe mode after they crash, they go back to normal. ANd with Mac OS X, it never crash's. PeeCee's crash, and goto a blue screen of death, with this: 0957890-23450-89234759034278590123475890-47305897234890-5734289673458906790345867890346789257589342657823465789234569823476589234765890237465890234678905237489572389056789023569082346589034657ugh67589324326758923465983689576348925672890056923480568902347589406895675896597823465293805629306589034659236905826739058623894562348905623490856289056389056890236529034856892346589342659082465896234905862348956723890467538925690234865893425678923465978236490523890456238905689023659082346578923468905265490856498032689567892658923569824562893056234895624390625892346543892568902468923465986243095624905649238562934806598234659023456623458923465896234589623494567890345342567983624589634980563479056936824592346597824654293756324657234652783458579349658753456837246578256234875653428675467845367823456587265478234568975678356754678455766756234678565478657846378452658726578562385283465685672367856.  That's a peecee eorror code.

Um, you could. My dad got his opteron for $500. So:

$500+$500+200=1200

Yea,   .  A dual opteron rig can be built for under three grand fairly easily.  I won't disagree with the fact that Windows machines are unstable, but they are more stable than they used to be.  I once had over 4 weeks of uptime on this Windows XP Pro box.  I never get blue screens of death unless I'm overclocking.

PCs are WAY better. Mines only been up for like 1 month and I love it. The Mac has had at least 1 error, everyday for the past 2 weeks. Thursday I had to restart it 5 times in an hour because one program kept quiting itself and then it said I had to restart the computer. I pressed to restart and it froze. If I ever go to the Grand Canyon, I'm taking the Mac with me and throwing it over. That a good enough argument Rocko?
Mr. Krabs: Do you smell it..that smell...a kind of smelly smell...a smelly smell that smells smelly. Anchovies.
Squidward: What?
Mr. Krabs: ANCHOVIES!
Anchovies: MEEP, MEEP, MEEP.

I probably won't be on here too much being in college and all. I will try to pop on every once in a while though to share my thoughts.

The Mac has probably had an average of about 3-5 errors a day.

I cant even remember the last time I got a blue screen. Although I did get freaked out today during computers when the computer turned all gray screeny.

If you have a G3 and at least 16mb, of vram, update to Mac OS X.It never crash's, sure sometimes you have to force-quit a program. But that's only when it's run out of  memory, and viturl mermory. It's so stable, and don't worry about kornel panic's I have yet to have one.
