Could you define "werid" and how it doesn't work well.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

The mac has been owning the PC for a long time.

Back in 1991 you could do so much cool stuff on a mac that the pc wasnt even cabable of even doing...
There is no such thing as peace and there never will be. Peace is a delusion believed by the weak. Gandhi said : "An eye of an eye would leave the whole world blind". So be it because only a blind world can experience the peace that it deserves. But there in lay the sick irony. Who will be able to see this peace? The human species is at war. The enemy walks among us nearly invisible. Only those with true discernment can see them. But only one with discernment and vision can show them to others

Having to buy a product from a company that doesn't allow for competition with their software doesn't sound like owning to me....it sounds stupid. I'd rather own a crappy windows system that I could build and mess around with than having to worry about buying upgrades from the 'Big Apple'.

Fact is that the line between PC and Mac is becoming extremely blurred. At this point the only difference is mac's use EFI instead of BIOS and run MacOS. once people can boot XP on a mac without bricking it, the line will officialy cease to exist.

Not, really.  Today, both are about the same it's just that Macs today are for people who don't understand computers, are impatient with computers, don't like crashes such as explorer in Windows XP, and thats about it.

Until i see Aero, the MacOS interface and engine pwn the old school windows shell by and far, and have for years. However, in the modern era macs are slower, have less support, and cost more. Im hoping Aero will absolutely pwn the screen the way MacOS does.

Aero already looks ugly, not mention Vista is a HUGE disappointment to me, since I love XP. Unless Mac messes up, I will definitely be purchasing a Mac as my new computer.
