There's Someone On The Main Who's Not A Member

There's someone on the main page called "Hot Bot". I know what it is. It's a seach engine spider who looks around the forum to know whats its about so It can make a summary of it so it can submit in google search engine.

Yea, it's been spidering the forums for a few days now.  I had bots hidden before, but I decided to change it so that they were shown.  My favorite is Googlebot, because google is awesome!  Hot Bot doesn't submit it stuff to Google though, I'm pretty sure it submits to Inktomi, which is now owned by Yahoo.  Yahoo doesn't actually use it though.   It's used by dozens of search engines like Msn.com, hotbot.com, about.com, looksmart.com, and overture.com (which is also being bought by Yahoo).  :wacko:

Yeah it is! Google's set as my homepage and I always search there... even instead of typing in websites in the web address bar I just get them off Goggle because it's fun  :biggrin:
