The Wiki that the SpongeBob Episode Guide will be built on is in place on the server.  The Episode Guide part of it is not quite ready yet,  but you can visit it and register a user name.  Go ahead and practice using a Wiki on the Sandbox page.

Summed up it's a guide using GNU, which allows anyone to edit a guide.

Close, but no.  GNU is a recursive acronym that means GNU not Unix.  Wikis are community edited sites.  Wikipedia has a lot of info.  I'm using the same software that they are.
