It's amazing how so many of you are misinformed pawns of the media. Supporting an idea like "supporting the troops" doesn't mean the person will vote for a specific bill in Congress. There are an infinate number of means to any given end. For example, when Kerry voted against the bill to give additional funding to the war in Iraq, he did so because there were $20 billion that was going to reconstruction of Iraq, but the bill was not specific about what the $20 billion would be used for. Kerry voted it down because he wanted the bill revised to say what the $20 billion would be used for. Thats what most of Congress is about. Means, not ends. Your so called "flip-flops" are flawed in logic...
