Actually, your gender isn't finalized for weeks. Everyone starts out as a female, and then one of the Y chromosones can stay a Y or go to a X.

IZ is correct. It's about one of the only things I remember from science class...everyone starts off as female, and then what WOULD be the ovaries can come out of the body and become the...uhm....yeah...with the uhm...scrotum...*runs off*
