Cmonkey predicted it on the 18th, and it seems to have come true...

A new chat applet has been set up for all of you SpongeZone goers. It throws away the old JavaScript interface in favor of a full screen CGI one. Hopefully it will prove easier to navigate and have shorter load times. The new applet also does not require any client-side software, so it should function for everyone!

Let the staff know what you think of the new client by testing it out [<removed>] and posting your comments. (Keep in mind that the link in "The Chat" section still points to the old applet.)

What are you waiting for?! Try it out!

UPDATE: 10/22/04

I have removed the above link, and updated the "The Chat" section. Go there to check out the new client. Cmonkey will update you all on when the next chat session will be. The legacy applet can still be accessed through a link on the bottom of the "The Chat" section.
