Jeanne Calment lived from 1875 to 1997, making her 122. Although someone named Sarah Knauss is older and still lives to this day, there is not complete evidence of her birthdate, which most believe is Sep. 24, 1880.

I used to always keep track of who the oldest living person on earth was. I think the oldest (with proof) is either Spanish or German. They are about 116.
